We’ll discuss zero waste gift ideas like experiences\, pre-loved gifts\, repaired gifts (did you know Pikes Peak Library District at Library21C offers a Repair Cafe to assist you?) and more. \nReducing what we consume helps us reduce manufacturing\, transportation\, and disposal pollution that impacts our climate and our environment – plus we can focus instead on what really matters. \nFor example\, much of our clothing (polyester\, nylon etc) and other purchases contain plastic. Plastics require extracting fossil fuels\, a main ingredient\, and a highly energy intensive conversion into plastics.
