SUMMARY:350 Colorado Springs March Team meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our regular 350 Colorado Springs team meeting: A space for collaboration and collective action to address the times we’re living in at the grassroots level. One of our main campaigns currently is to retire the Nixon coal plant on schedule and build a healthy\, just energy future for our city.\nWhether you’re brand-new to climate organizing or have years of experience\, you are welcome here.\nYou don’t need technical knowledge\, policy expertise\, or any kind of credentials to get involved\nEveryone brings something valuable: curiosity\, creativity\, concern for the planet\, or simply a desire to help.\n\nAt meetings\, we’ll:– Introduce ourselves– Share updates on the campaign to retire the Nixon coal plant– Share updates on other campaigns the team is working on– Plan upcoming actions\, outreach\, events\, and community education– Brainstorm ways to bring more voices into the movement and connect with other\, existing groups– Connect with others who care about clean air and a livable future\n\nThis is a great place to learn\, meet new people\, and plug into meaningful local work. We believe movements grow when everyone can participate at the level that feels right for them.\nCome as you are. Bring a friend. Let’s build a Colorado Springs where our energy system reflects our values.
