Support local residential Solar energy, oppose climate damage from Project Taurus (data center)

On July 22nd in the Pine Room at the Penrose Library from 4:30-6:30 pm, the Sierra Club will be having a joint training and information session with Solar United Neighbors. There we will be educating attendees on the increase in net metering for solar and the finer details behind project Taurus. Likewise we’ll be giving out pointers on how to provide public comment on the next day’s hearing at the Ent Center for the Arts and supplying craft materials to make protest signs. On the 23rd the Sierra Club will be sponsoring a protest as well on the grounds of the Ent Center. The 22nd event is called ‘Solar, Not Servers.’ Attached is a flyer for the 22nd.
