The Sun Day event in Colorado Springs, one of more than 200 nationwide, is designed to inspire all ages to learn about and share the clean energy transformation underway at home, school, work, and in the community.
We will celebrate solar and wind becoming the cheapest energy on the planet and information tables will help you learn about how to save on utility bills (and save our outdoors) with rapidly evolving technologies like induction stoves, heat pumps, home sealing, solar battery systems, EVs and more. There is something for all ages including art creation, sharing quotes to post, a volunteer signup, and frequent drawings to give away T-shirts and posters.
Sun Day is free for the public on Saturday, September 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Poor Richard’s Downtown, 324 1/2 North Tejon Street, Colorado Springs
