Since 2021, Pueblo County Commissioners have been considering putting a nuclear power plant in Pueblo to replace the Unit 3 Coal plant. This is a dangerous idea for many reasons.
Pueblo’s County Commissioners, as well as city and state elected representatives of Pueblo, need to hear that nuclear power is not the right choice for Colorado. This is why we are working in coalition with our friends in Pueblo to make sure this nuclear proposal does not move forward.
